Community Service Club

Brief outline

The community service club aims to mould its members into caring and compassionate contributors who show care and concern to the community through service learning projects.

Main activities

The community service club provides the platform for students to identify and organise community service projects that meet the needs of the community. Students will be equipped with the knowledge to (i) meet up and discuss with organisations to identify the needs of the organisations that they plan to work with, (ii) plan and organise projects to reach out to the beneficiaries (iii) rally other schoolmates to come on board to volunteer their services. The students will have ample opportunities to network with external organisations such as National Youth Council, elderly centres, Rainbow Centre, Tanjong Pagar GRC, etc. Through these exposures, students are able to acquire good organising skills, project management skills, teamwork, leadership and communication skills.
