Cross Country

Brief Outline

Queensway Cross Country aims to strengthen character and maximize the potential and performance of our athletes in distance running. Beyond that, we aim to build a strong knowledge of running so as to develop a life-long interest in the sport and nurture a healthy lifestyle.  

Main Activities

Trainings are conducted thrice weekly, and we seek to enhance knowledge of running through a comprehensive and structured training program, intensive holiday training camps and learning journeys. Students are strongly encouraged to participate in National Schools competitions and external recreational running competitions, such as the annual Straits Times Run.

Though these activities, student athletes are guided to reach their fullest potential in competitive distance running. Beyond that, we also strive to develop the character and leadership abilities of our athletes. We emphasise the key values of responsibility, discipline, sportsmanship and leadership as students bond and build friendships in the team.
